Description
White Refined Sugar
White refined sugar is crystallized sucrose derived from sugarcane or sugar beets. After harvesting, the juice from the sugarcane or sugar beets is extracted and boiled to reduce moisture content. As the moisture evaporates, the sucrose in the juice starts to crystallize. The crystallized sugar is then separated, leaving behind other extracts in the form of molasses.
